The Zusanli Point lies below the outside knee for 3 Chinese inches and horizontally next to the shinbone for a finger’s distance, which is on the front muscle of the shinbone.
The point lies between the fibula and the shinbone. When looking for the point, just take the distance of four fingers downward from the outside knee. And then take the distance of one finger nearby from the shinbone, where the Zusanli Point lies.
Massage methods:
1. Sitting upright on a stool with four figures gathered and putting the fingers on the flank of a calf, put the tip of the thumb on the Zusanli Point to press and pinch it in turns for 36 times. Change to another side of the body to do the same then. Do it in turns.
2. Sitting upright on a stool with four figures crooked and putting the fingers on the flank of a calf, put the tip of the thumb on the Zusanli Point to touch and press it in turns for 36 times. Change to another side of the body to do the same then. Do it in turns.
3. Sitting upright with a calf extending forward slightly to form a 120°angle between the leg and stool, put the index finger on the Zusanli Point with the middle finger on the index finger to press it with the efforts together. Press and knead the Zusanli Point for one minute. Change to another side of the body to do the same then. Do it in turns.
4. Sitting upright with a calf extending forward slightly to form a 120°angle between the leg and stool, put the tip of the thumb on the Zusanli Point with all the efforts gathered on the tip to press it forcefully, and then push and pull the muscles in there. Do it for seven times. Change to another side of the body to do the same then. Do it in turns.
5. Sitting upright with a leg extending forward and two palms opened, rub and twine the whole leg from the top to the bottom. Do it to each leg for one time.
